The VLIR-UOS team embarked on a week-long self-assessment at the university. The joint assessment of the university’s institutional capacity is facilitated by external assessors’ team from C-Lever, Dr. Levi Koyio Matseole and Mr. Patrick Stoop. The VLIR-UOS supports partnerships between universities and university colleges in Flanders (Belgium) and the South, looking for innovative responses to global and local challenges.

VLIR-OUS is the platform through which Flemish higher education stakeholders have been working together on university cooperation for development since 1998. The week –long institutional assessment will identify the strengths and weaknesses of potential IUC universities considering the general principles of IUC cooperation.
