Guidelines for Submission


  1. Priority will be given to Ph.D, M.Sc, and Undergraduate students in that order;
  2. In all cases the students must be between formal proposal and submission stages in their respective Schools/Faculties.


Submission process

  1. Students with ongoing research projects are required to submit an abstract of approximately 300 words with the following components: Title; Justification; Methodology; Key Finding (if any) and Challenges by email to by 9th February 2019;
  2. The Abstract will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for acceptance;
  3. Upon notification of acceptance, the student will prepare and present in PowerPoint form a ten (10) minute presentation, along the same lines as indicated in (i) above, at the Pre-Conference Symposium.
  4. Eligible undergraduate students wishing to present for example: posters, studio work, designs or software applications emanating from their research projects should submit a half page description in Word to by 9th February 2019 for selection. Posters accepted as exhibits will be limited to maximum size (0.84m x 1.19 m).
